The Department of Neurology has a team of competent Neurologists. Neurological services offered at KIMS have an excellent back up facility from Intensive and Respiratory Care Units. Effective management of acute strokes with clot busters or intervention as required can be done. KIMS Neurological labs are fully equipped with latest EEG including video EEG, EMG, Nerve Conduction Studies and evoked potential equipment. The lab is handled by competent technicians supervised constantly by the Consultant Doctors to facilitate prompt and immediate delivery of results at affordable costs.

The movement disorders that occur due to different medical conditions such as Blepharospasm, Hemifacial spasm, Writer’s Cramp, Cervical Dystonia and Spasticity are treated by administering injection of Botulinum toxin (Boton / Dysport). Advanced management of Parkinson’s disease with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is also performed here.
