Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery consists of surgical treatment for benign and malignant diseases of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. These are among the most challenging and complex surgical procedures performed in general surgery and require a high degree of expertise and skill.

At KIMS, the treatment of patients with Hepatopancreatobiliary tumors is facilitated by a multidisciplinary approach to formulate a treatment plan with the help of a surgeon, medical oncologist, interventional radiologist and radiation oncologist and people from diagnostic radiology and nursing practitioners.

Our expert team emphasizes diagnosis and medical management of liver and bile duct diseases with a variety of treatment strategies, including liver resection, RF ablation, alcohol injection, chemoembolization, portosystemic shunting, TIPS, laparoscopic procedures, and biliary bypass, as well as Liver transplantation.
