Closed heart procedures

  • PDA closure
  • Repair of Coarctation of aorta
  • BT shunts in neonates (midline) and infants (thoracotomy)
  • Pulmonary artery banding
  • Permanent pacemaker implantation (PPI)

Routine open-heart surgeries include

  • ASD closure
  • VSD closure
  • Intracardiac repair of tetralogy of fallot (TOF)
  • Bidirectional Glenn operation
  • Repair of complete AV canal defect
  • Senning operation
  • Double outlet right ventricle
  • PAPVC (Partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage)

Complex and major open-heart surgeries

  • Obstructed total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC)
  • Arterial switch operation for transposition of great arteries with or without VSD
  • Coarctation of aorta with arch hypoplasia and VSD requiring single stage correction from midline
  • VSD with pulmonary atresia requiring intra cardiac repair with RV to PA conduit
  • Pulmonary artery reconstruction and staged unifocalisation for TOF with pulmonary atresia and MAPCAS
  • Repair of truncus arteriosus
  • Completion of Fontan procedure for single ventricle repair
  • Repair of supra valvular aortic stenosis
  • ALCAPA repair
