Profile Overview:
Dr. Rahul Gunde is a Consultant Neurologist with over 10 years of experience in medicine, including specialized training in Neurology. He completed his MBBS from the meritorious Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, his MD in General Medicine from Mamata Medical College, Khammam, and his DM in Neurology from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center, Bangalore, where he was awarded Best Outgoing Student. During his DM residency, he received the Bangalore Neurological Society Award for Best Presentation in both 2022 and 2024 for two separate case series.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played an active role in critical care management at Sigma Hospitals, Jeedimetla, successfully treating over 1,000 patients before going on to pursue super-specialty training in Neurology.
Dr. Rahul Gunde specializes in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and neuromuscular disorders, with particular expertise in electrophysiological diagnostics. He also has significant training exposure to neuroendovascular interventions, having assisted in numerous cases involving carotid stenting, mechanical thrombectomy, and aneurysm coiling during his residency.
