  • Open and Minimal Invasive thoracic surgery - VATS (Video-assisted thoracic surgery) and RATS (Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery).
  • The first assistant to more than 200 uni portal VATS (Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) cases and performed several independently.
  • Bedside assistant in more than 80 robotic thoracic surgical cases.
  • Bedside assistant to the first uni portal RATS (Robotic-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) case performed in India (da Vinci X system).
  • Currently undergoing training in post-graduate Robotic thoracic surgery course held by Albert Einstein Israelite hospital, Brazil for certification by Intuitive.
  • Surgeries for various benign lung diseases (including tubercular) and lung cancers.
  • Mediastinal pathologies – Thymectomies (for myasthenic and non-myasthenic) and several other benign and malignant mediastinal pathologies.
  • First assistant in Lung transplant cases as well (both the recipient and donor side).
  • Exposure to tracheal surgeries.
  • Experienced in the management of chest trauma cases.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and ability in counseling patients; fluent in Telugu, English, Hindi, and Kannada.

  • “Letter of Commendation” from the National Board for ‘outstanding research work’ - Study of Outcomes in Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Lung Resections in a Tertiary Care Center (Doctoral thesis in DrNB thoracic surgery) - The first-of-its-kind study from India.
