The blueprint of the human genetic code was revealed in the Human Genome Project in 2003. After this, there was a paradigm shift in the approach to genetic disorders. He completed his MBBS & DCH from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum, and MD (Pediatrics) from JJMMC, Davangere. He earned his DrNB (Medical Genetics) super-specialty degree from NIMS, Hyderabad (NBE, New Delhi). He also worked at CDFD, Hyderabad, during his genetics course. He is an astute clinician who cares for all patients with utmost dedication and compassion, aiming to provide comprehensive and empathetic care for all genetic disorders.
