Dr. Muhasin P M is a Specialist in Critical Care at KIMS Sreechand Hospital, Kannur, providing comprehensive 24×7 emergency and critical care services. He completed his MBBS from Southern Medical University, Guangzhou, China, and successfully completed his Master's in Emergency Medicine (MEM) from Aster MIMS, Kannur, in 2026.

With several years of experience in emergency and acute care, Dr. Muhasin has worked across high-volume emergency departments, managing a wide range of medical, surgical, trauma, and critically ill patients. Prior to joining KIMS Sreechand Hospital, he served as a Junior Resident in the Casualty and Medicine Department at MVJM Hospital, Perumbavoor, followed by his role as HDU and Casualty Medical Officer at Lakshmi Hospital, Ernakulam, where he was actively involved in the management of critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilatory support, hemodynamic stabilization, and multidisciplinary care in the High Dependency Unit (HDU). He further enhanced his expertise during his training in Emergency Medicine at Aster MIMS, Kannur, where he gained extensive experience in emergency resuscitation, trauma care, intensive care management, and the treatment of complex medical and surgical emergencies.

His areas of expertise include emergency and trauma resuscitation, advanced airway management, rapid sequence intubation, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), mechanical ventilation, High Dependency Unit (HDU) and intensive care management, procedural sedation and analgesia, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, pericardiocentesis, and the management of medical, surgical, pediatric, and toxicological emergencies.

Dr. Muhasin is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). He has actively participated in numerous national and regional conferences, workshops, and academic programs in emergency medicine, trauma care, critical care, ultrasound, toxicology, and resuscitation.
