The uMI 550 PET-CT Scanner at KIMS Chakra Cancer Centre is an advanced digital hybrid imaging system that combines PET and CT to provide detailed metabolic and anatomical information in a single scan. It supports faster scanning, dose-optimised imaging, high-quality image acquisition. Its advanced imaging capabilities help physicians evaluate disease more comprehensively and make informed decisions throughout the cancer care journey, from diagnosis and staging to treatment monitoring and follow-up.
PET/CT services include:
- F-18 FDG PET/CT – Commonly used for metabolic imaging of various cancers.
- Ga-68 PSMA PET/CT – Primarily used for imaging prostate cancer and PSMA-expressing lesions.
- Ga-68 DOTANOC/TOC PET/CT – Used for evaluation of neuroendocrine tumors.
- Ga-68 FAPI PET/CT – Provides molecular imaging based on fibroblast activation protein expression in selective malignancies.
