The Allergy/Immunology Program at KIMS treats a wide variety of diseases covering the whole spectrum of allergic disorders, including asthma.
We provide diagnostic procedures and novel treatment approaches for patients suffering from:
- A variety of allergic disorders including hay fever, asthma due to allergies, eczema, hives, drug allergies such as allergies to antibiotics, food allergies.
- Immunodeficiencies is weaknesses in the body's ability to fight infections.
- Children and families who are infected by the AIDS virus or are at risk for infection.
- Clinical trials testing new and more effective medicines for all the above listed diseases
We will often engage the family as a unit, by offering social services, group and family interactive sessions, outreach programs and psychological support.
