Overview:

Dr. Shiva Kumar GD is a dedicated and highly skilled Critical Care Specialist with broad experience in managing life-threatening emergencies and high-acuity Intensive Care Units (ICUs). With an advanced background in Anaesthesiology and specialisation in Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Shiva brings a highly organised, and evidence-based approach to the bedside when every second counts. 

Dr. Shiva specialises in managing severe respiratory failure, septic shock, multi-organ dysfunction, complex airway situations, and advanced ECMO support. Using point-of-care ultrasound and modern monitoring techniques, he performs delicate bedside procedures quickly and safely, minimising discomfort and risk for patients in critical condition. 

He sets himself apart through his commitment to evidence-based protocol care and his strong focus on family counselling. Dr. Shiva believes that supporting a patient means supporting their family too, ensuring clear, honest, and reassuring guidance throughout the ICU care journey.
