Continuous Glucose Monitor System (CGMS) with Insulin Pump: The Continuous Glucose Monitor System (CGMS) tracks glucose levels in real-time, enabling effective monitoring for patients with diabetes. paired with an insulin pump, it offers precise and personalized insulin delivery.

Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) for Gestational Diabetes (GDM): Being a vital diagnostic, the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test can detect gestational diabetes in pregnant mothers. KIMS-Arete Hospital’ team is available to assist the patients through this simple yet crucial process, ensuring comfort and valuable insights to support a healthy pregnancy.

Mixed Meal Tolerance Test (Stimulated C Peptide Test): For patients having insulin-related issues, the mixed meal tolerance test is a valuable tool to measure how well the pancreas is producing insulin. Our experienced endocrinologists will guide the patients into pancreatic health, assessing whether the patients have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, or evaluating the effectiveness of treatment.

Growth Hormone Suppression Test for Acromegaly: Excessive growth hormone (GH) production in adulthood, leading to abnormal tissue and bone growth and resulting in enlarged hands, feet, and facial features, is characterized by acromegaly. The growth hormone suppression test helps to diagnose acromegaly by assessing growth hormone secretion before and after consumption of a sugar solution.

Dynamic Test for Growth Hormone Disorders: The dynamic test for growth hormone disorders employs a stimulation approach, administering injections of arginine to measure the body's ability to produce growth hormones. The objective is to gather insights that can inform a targeted and effective strategy for addressing any growth-related concerns.

Short Synacthen Test (ACTH Stimulation Test): Our proficient doctors at KIMS-Arete Hospital perform the Short Synacthen test, also known as the ACTH Stimulation Test, to diagnose or rule out adrenal insufficiency and to differentiate between primary adrenal insufficiency (failure of the adrenal glands) and secondary adrenal insufficiency (failure of the pituitary gland or hypothalamus to stimulate the adrenal glands).

Dexamethasone Suppression Tests: These are a group of endocrinology tests to assess the function of the adrenal glands and help in the diagnosis of certain endocrine disorders, particularly those related to cortisol regulation such as Cushing's syndrome (excessive production of Cortisol). We mainly perform the Low-Dose Dexamethasone Suppression Test (LDDST) and the High-Dose Dexamethasone Suppression Test (HDDST).

GnRH Stimulation Test: The Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) stimulation test evaluates the function of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland in regulating the production of reproductive hormones. It helps diagnose conditions related to puberty and reproductive health, determining whether the underlying issue lies in the central regulation of hormones or the ovaries or testes.

Water Deprivation Test: The water deprivation test or the water deprivation and vasopressin stimulation test assesses the body's ability to concentrate urine and regulate water balance. This helps to differentiate between various forms of diabetes insipidus and primary polydipsia (excessive thirst). We conduct this water deprivation test under close medical supervision due to the risk of dehydration.
