Profile Overview

Dr. Anila Mani is a Transfusion Medicine specialist with experience in clinical transfusion care, stem cell harvesting, therapeutic apheresis, transplant immunology, advanced immunohematology and patient blood management. She has contributed to the setting up of Department of Transfusion Medicine & hemotherapy at AIIMS, Mangalagiri, development of apheresis services, coagulation laboratories, a sickle cell centre of competence, clinics for hemophilia and other coagulation disorders, and regenerative medicine services. Her professional work also spans medical education, research, quality improvement and voluntary blood donation initiatives.
