Dr. Busani Varun is a Senior Surgical Gastroenterologist and Colorectal Surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. He holds an MBBS from Osmania Medical College, an MS in General Surgery, and an MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from Osmania General Hospital. He further completed a Fellowship in Colorectal, Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery at Portsmouth University Hospital, NHS–UK, and was honoured as a Smith International Surgical Scholar at the International Colorectal Disease Symposium, Cleveland Clinic Florida. He has strong proficiency in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery, colorectal procedures, pancreatic trauma management, and abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Varun has independently managed complex gastrointestinal and colorectal cases at leading centers including KIMS Hospitals and Cygnus Gastro Hospital. His work includes major open and laparoscopic surgeries, academic teaching, multicentric research involvement, and award-winning presentations at national and international conferences.
