Dr. Ashraf K P is a highly experienced Senior Consultant Pediatrician with over 15 years of full-time clinical service in neonatology and general pediatrics. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut, and later earned his MD in Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Trivandrum. Dr. Ashraf has a rich background in managing Level 3 NICUs and has handled numerous complex neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress syndrome, metabolic imbalances, neonatal sepsis, birth defects, and preterm care. His clinical skills also include neonatal resuscitation, exchange transfusion, CPAP and ventilator support, and neonatal procedures such as umbilical catheter placement and lumbar puncture. He is known for his compassionate approach, clear communication with families, and hands-on expertise in managing both critical and routine pediatric cases. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Ashraf has actively contributed to academic training, quality assurance initiatives, and neonatal care protocol development.
