Hyderabad’s PHCs are witnessing a surge in influenza-like illnesses with high fever, body aches, headache, nausea, cough, and cold dominating cases, while dengue tests are largely coming back negative.

Dr. Aarathi Bellary, Consultant Internal Medicine at KIMS Hospitals, Kondapur urges people to seek medical attention if fever persists beyond three to four days, maintain hygiene, wear protective clothing, and stay hydrated to recover faster.
