KIMS KIMS Hospitals Crosses 10,000 Brain Tumor Surgeries

Marking a major milestone in advanced neurological care, KIMS Hospitals has successfully completed more than 10,000 brain tumor surgeries and unveiled a state-of-the-art Robotic Digital Microscope on the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day.

The advanced technology, launched by Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman & Managing Director of KIMS Group of Hospitals, is designed to enhance precision in complex brain and spine surgeries through high-definition visualization and improved tissue differentiation.

Dr. Manas Kumar Panigrahi, HOD & Senior Consultant Neurosurgery, highlighted that nearly 10% of the brain tumor surgeries performed at KIMS involved children, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis across all age groups.
