Primary Study was done on the Indian population to study heart attacks led by Dr. B. Hygriv Rao gave new insights. The researchers studied 2153 patients with heart attacks & 1200 control subjects to determine if conventional risk factors & metabolic risk factors could be attributed to the occurrence of the disease.
