Renowned urologist Dr. Sandeep Maheshwara Reddy Kallam stated that if prostate cancer in men is identified early and provided with better treatment, it can be controlled and long-term positive outcomes can be achieved. Speaking at a prostate cancer awareness program held on Tuesday at KIMS ICON Hospital in Sheela Nagar, he advised men over 50 to stay vigilant and be aware of urinary symptoms. He added that depending on the stage of cancer, advanced targeted therapies alongside radiation, hormone therapy, and chemotherapy are currently available.
