Dr.Aleena Ali is a Consultant Radiologist with comprehensive expertise in Diagnostic imaging, currently serving as the Consultant and Head of the Department of Radiology at KIMS Valiyath Hospital, Karunagapally. She previously held the position of Head of the Department at Valiyath Institute of Medical Sciences. Prior to this, she worked at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, Hyderabad and completed a Senior Residency at Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal refining her expertise across multiple subspecialties.

Dr. Aleena holds an MD in Radiology from Osmania Government Medical College, Hyderabad, and an MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, Kerala. As Part of her ongoing professional development, she has successfully completed the FRCR 2A examinations and is currently awaiting the final FRCR assessment, marking a significant milestone in international radiology credentialing.

A dedicated academic, Dr. Aleena has presented numerous papers and posters on Trauma imaging, musculoskeletal disorders, and gastrointestinal imaging at Various state, national, and international conferences. Her achievements include Winning 2nd Prize in the “Guess the Case” Competition at the World Congress of Emergency Radiology and 3rd Prize for an oral paper presentation at CT BUZZ, conducted by Indian Radiologists.

She is professionally affiliated with the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA), the Breast Imaging Society of India, and the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR). With strong expertise in MSK, Neuro, Abdominal, Gynaecologic, Paediatric, and Women’s Imaging. Dr Aleena is highly skilled in cross-sectional imaging, Structured reporting, and USG-guided FNAC and biopsies. Her clinical acumen and commitment to excellence ensure high-quality, patient-centred radiologic Care across both acute and routine diagnostic settings.
