Dr. Ashley Georgin Johnson is a committed and highly knowledgeable Medical Gastroenterologist. With a strong foundation in internal medicine and expertise in gastrointestinal diseases and endoscopic procedures, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to every patient.

Dr. Ashley began his medical education in 2009. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, during the period 2009 to 2015. Following this, he successfully completed his one-year mandatory internship from 2015 to 2016.

For his postgraduate education, he pursued a DNB in General Medicine at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, from 2018 to 2021. During this period, he received comprehensive training in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Subsequently, he undertook super-specialty training in DrNB Medical Gastroenterology from 2022 to 2025 at KMC Hospital, Balmatta, Mangalore. As part of this advanced training, he specialized in the modern diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal diseases and gained expertise in various endoscopic procedures.

Served as a Resident Physician at Our Family Clinic in Kumbalangi, Kochi, in 2017. Provided primary care services for acute and chronic illnesses.

Procedures Performed:

• 200 upper GI endoscopies (UGIScopy)
• 40 colonoscopies
• 20 endoscopic band ligation procedures (supervised)
• Therapeutic procedures: Argon photocoagulation, snare polypectomy, Stricture/granuloma (SG) dilation, and glue injection therapy
• Assisted ~20 Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography  (ERCP) procedures

Skills:

• Provide comprehensive gastrointestinal care across outpatient and inpatient settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform basic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., upper GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy).
