Overview:

I have completed my postgraduation in the Department of General Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. After which I had worked as a non-academic senior resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi for 11 months. 

I have done my residency (3-year MCH) at the Department of Neurosurgery, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. I have experience in managing neurosurgical ward and ICU. I have assisted/performed over 500 routine and emergency operative cases during this period. 

I have been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences, Visakhapatnam, for the last 3 years to gain surgical expertise and have performed more than 1000 surgical procedures during the period.

During my tenure at VIMS, I have done two fellowships in the subspecialty of Endoscopic Spine Surgeries at Bhubaneswar and South Korea. I have successfully performed more than 100 endoscopic spine surgeries in the last 18 months after completing my fellowships.
