Dr. Suraj Jayadeva Reddy is a highly accomplished urologist with extensive training and expertise in both endourology and reconstructive urology. Currently serving as a Consultant in Urology at KIMS Sreechand Hospital, he brings a refined skill set in advanced surgical techniques alongside a dedication to academic excellence and patient-centered care. Dr. Suraj completed his MBBS at JSS Medical College, Mysore, and pursued MS in General Surgery at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute. He further specialized in Urology with an MCh from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
Dr. Suraj has worked as a Resident in General Surgery and Urology at top-tier institutions, including Kasturba Medical College and Fortis Hospital, Bangalore, where he gained significant experience in performing complex urological surgeries. His clinical expertise spans across endourological procedures such as URSL, PCNL, TURP, TURBT, RIRS, and VIU, along with open procedures like nephrectomy, adrenalectomy, pyeloplasty, and urethroplasty. He also has experience in renal transplantation, having assisted in over 30 kidney transplants and related procedures.
His academic contributions include several national and international publications in renowned journals, particularly in the areas of ureteroscopy, ureteric stents, urolithiasis, and digital health technologies in urology. He has presented his research at numerous conferences, including AUA, USICON, and SZUSICON, earning awards for best papers and presentations. Dr. Suraj was also the recipient of the prestigious International Travelling Fellowship from the Urological Society of India.
