Consultant Neurologist
Dr. Vandana KV is a compassionate neurologist with specialized training in stroke, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology, and epilepsy. Her clinical journey is marked by a strong academic foundation, practical experience, and a deep commitment to patient-centric, evidence-based care.Â
She completed her Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Neurology from the prestigious Government Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, where she honed her skills in managing complex neurological disorders under the guidance of senior faculty and mentors. She pursued her MD in General Medicine from the Government SSMC & SGMH, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, followed by a DNB in General Medicine from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She began her medical career by earning her MBBS from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry, laying the foundation for her passion in internal medicine and neurosciences.
Dr. Vandana's clinical interests span a wide range of neurological subspecialties, including epilepsy, cerebrovascular diseases, neurocritical care, and most notably, neuromuscular and autoimmune neurological conditions. She is well-versed in patient management in both emergency and outpatient settings and is known for her methodical approach, strong diagnostic acumen, and empathetic communication.
Dr. Vandana has authored several case reports and clinical studies in reputed journals, including Neurology India and the International Journal of Health and Clinical Research, BPJ, and JAPI.Â

In recognition of her academic performance, she was awarded the Khanijo Gold Medal for the best postgraduate in General Medicine in 2021.
Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Vandana has actively participated in various national and state-level conferences and workshops, such as the Winter School Epilepsy, IANCON, TANCON, and the Madras Neuro Update, and has presented various posters. These engagements reflect her continuous pursuit of knowledge and her dedication to staying current with advancements in neurology. She also served briefly as a Medical Officer at the Govt Family Health Center in Manimala, Kottayam, and worked as a Post-PG Medical Officer at Rewa Medical College, gaining valuable experience in community-based and institutional healthcare settings.
 She is fluent in Malayalam, English, Hindi, and Tamil, allowing her to connect effortlessly with diverse patient populations. Her clinical leadership is complemented by her proficiency in research tools such as SPSS, and she remains committed to advancing both the science and service of neurology.
