In a life-saving intervention, doctors at KIMS Hospitals, Kurnool successfully treated a young woman suffering from subarachnoid haemorrhage caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM).
🩺 When conventional arterial access was too risky, the neuro-intervention team performed a rare transvenous embolisation — a highly specialized, minimally invasive procedure to seal the abnormal blood vessels.
⏱️ The six-hour procedure was completed successfully, and the patient is now stable and recovering well.
